Job Title: Host

Seeking Provide friendly, responsive service to create an exceptional dining experience for all of our guests, by welcoming and warmly greeting guests on arrival. Manage the efficient and timely seating of our guests to a table that best serves their wishes.

Primary Duties

Assign guests to tables suitable for their needs and reservations as well as according to rotation so that servers receive an appropriate number of seating’s.
Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, to respond to complaints, or to make conversation.
Maintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff, and guests to ensure that dining details are handled properly and customers' concerns are addressed.
Monitor restaurant activity to determine seating and dining flow while maintaining communcation with kitchen staff, management and serving staff.
Inform guests of establishment specialties and features.
Inspect restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies and clean restrooms when necessary.
Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return, advising of other daily specials and upcoming events.
Coordinate with and assist fellow employees to meet guests’ needs and support the operation of the restaurant.
Answer phone and respond to emails regarding reservations.
Review reservations made through online system and maintain proper organization of floor plan.
Perform opening and closing duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

Exceptional grooming habits.
Excellent at communication skills and outgoing personality.
Ability to stand/walk and stay focused and alert for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work well in fast paced, loud environment
Detail oriented and organized.

Compensation: $17.00 per hour
